Leah Wolk-Derksen

My name is Leah Wolk-Derksen. I am a teacher, an artist, and I love observing and being in nature. My art combines my love of education and the outside world. After taking a break from teaching in a classroom setting, I created my small business, Tiny Pebble Designs and my first big art project, a botanical alphabet. My individually designed letters are hand-drawn and then finished digitally and have been used to make cards, wall art, stickers, and bookmarks. I continue to explore my artist side creating pencil and paper drawings, watercolor paintings, and digital art always with education and nature as inspiration. Each aspect of my art keeps me learning and growing. Also, my art allows me to stay connected to myself as an educator and to realize that even though I am no longer in the classroom, I will always be a teacher.
