Jean’s oil paintings reflect the scenes and random shapes that she discovers in nature as she canoes, hikes, and snowshoes. She almost always has a sketchbook close at hand in her pocket, pack, or purse.

Jean has been drawing and painting since childhood. Her art education includes several studio and college courses but she is primarily self- taught.
