Annie Santa Maria

Anne grew up in Vermont and has an MA from Dartmouth, but says that everything she knows about being a human being she learned during three years in Togo, West Africa and twenty in Mexico. She says that the wonderful pandemonium of life, the cacaphony of rich colors, sounds and smells of those places live within her, inspire her and flow into her art. She has carried the “stories” of her years working with artists and craftspeople back to Vermont. It is easy to see the rhythm and movement in her collages.
